I have several years’ experience providing clinical supervision both
in my private practice and NHS work. I have supervised qualified and
trainee clinical and counselling psychologists, CBT therapist and
assistant psychologists. My approach to supervision is integrative and
I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), especially third wave
approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),
Compassion- Focused Therapy (CFT) as well as psychodynamic ideas and
Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT).
Thinking about interpersonal trauma and relationship dynamics,
including the therapeutic relationship is a key part of supervision,
especially with more complex cases. I am to create a non-judgemental
space where supervisees feel free to discuss issues they are facing in
client work, their own process and discuss other professional issues
to support them to be the best therapist they can be. Please contact
me for more details.
